Blue Mountains lesbian information
A very well managed and informative site with information for lesbians in and around the Blue Mountains.
NSW country lesbian groups
This is a great site that lists groups and activities happening in rural areas towards the north of NSW.
Favorite Sites
Lemonkind
A lesbian chat site and information site set up in mid-2006. It's similar to the Pink Sofa but has the added advantage of being free! Try it out.
Pink Sofa
This is an Australian based lesbian chat and information site but its one of the best in the world! It also has an extensive classifieds/accommodation/travel section and free trial membership. So many Aussie dykes have met up throught the Pink Sofa to form strong friendships or more intimate relationships.
Lesbians on the Loose
A fantastic free magazine that comes out each month with loads of information about the scene and community groups in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra.
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Yep, the big 'un - and this site has all the information on the parade, fair day, parties, theatre etc etc etc.
Lesbotronic
Matchmake yourself! This is an excellent site that contains an interesting and fun questionnaire. Fill it in and then sit back while they send you details of new email friends or, if you like, a possible love interest. Although the site is American there are lots of Sydneysiders and Ozzies using it. Have a go, it's free and no strings attached.
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association
You don't even have to own a suit to belong! They run the fabulous 'Lemons With a Twist' cocktail night on the first Friday of the month at the Oxford Hotel.
ACON
The Aids Council of NSW. They run some lesbian coming out groups and have a lesbian health worker.
Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service
Telephone counselling available 5.30pm to 10.30pm, 7 days a week. They're trying to get a lesbian specific line set up so check out their website for details - or, why don't you volunteer yourself! We have heard it can be hard to get through on the phones but keep on perservering. They also run a women's coming out group 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month in Newtown, Sydney.
Melbourne Lesbian Open House
Just like Sydney Open House - open to all who identify as lesbian, bisexual or just don't know.
